Jewish center celebrates High Holidays

West Valley View

In anticipation of the upcoming Jewish New Year, the Chabad Jewish Center in Goodyear has announced its High Holiday services schedule.
"They will be warm, friendly, traditional and open to all," Rabbi Berel Zaklikofsky, executive director of Chabad Goodyear, said in a press release.

All are welcome to services at Chabad, free of charge, regardless of background or affiliation.

All prayers will combine the original Hebrew and translated English. In addition, a special children's program will accompany the adult services.

"Our tradition teaches that at the New Year, the doors of Heaven are open; God accepts all prayers from anyone," the rabbi said. "The least we can do is open our doors to the entire community."
